Rio Bravo-Greeley School District Educational Foundation (since 1991):
Since 1891, the heritage of the Rio Bravo-Greeley School District has passed from one generation to another. Now, the century old tradition rests in our hands.
Our Mission:
To help fund and support educational programs and activities within the Rio Bravo-Greeley School District.
We believe these programs, materials, and activities significantly enhance the quality of education our children receive.
RECENT PROJECTS FUNDED BY THE FOUNDATION INCLUDE:
- 2023 - $40,000 committed to the RBG Pool Renovation Project
- 2023 - $45,000 for Project Lead the Way Laptops
- 2023 - $48,000 for the RBG Music Program - New Instruments
- 2023 - $20,000 to implement and sustain Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade STEM Taught Program
- 2021 - $16,000 for STEM Taught Program materials and participation fees
- 2020: $48,000 for software licensing fees - Lexia, Rennaisance Place, ESGI, Next GenMath, and Moby Max. Done because of COVID related funding impacts on the school budget.
- 2020: $14,000 for Rio Bravo Elementary MPR audio-visual system
- 2020: $2,500 Class of 2020 Brick Monument (The COVID Class)
- 2020: $1,000 for Parent Teacher Club Fall Carnival
- 2019: $30,000 for 4th & 5th grade STEM Taught Program.
- 2019: $5,000 for the RoboGauchos robotics club.
- 2015-2019: Purchased hundreds of chromebooks and carts for both schools .
