Journalism
The students in Journalism will gain experience in newspaper production from start to finish. We will work on the writing process from prewriting, writing, editing, proofreading, typesetting, and layout. The students will use Mircrosoft Publisher to publish "The Gaucho Gazette."
Throughout the semester the students are going to learn how to write "hard news" articles, editorials, cover sports, interview techniques, and photography. We are going to use school and local information for the basis for our paper. If there is something national or international of great importance we may use that information as well.
I look forward to an exciting and fun elective for the students!
