Posting Grades in Aeries

Login to Aeries and select Grades on the left hand menu.

You will now be on the Grade entry screen and you will see the list of students in that section. You can verify which course/subject this period is by looking at the "Course" field. If you have a gradebook for the section you will click "Load Grades From Gradebook"

A new window will popup. Click next and Verify the listed gradebook matches the course from the previous screen. Please note that because each subject is in its own period/section, you should only have 1 available gradebook and it should automatically be set to "100% of overall mark". If you have multiple gradebooks listed, please ensure that you are selecting the gradebook for this quarter.

Click next and accept the default grade values set by the district. On the last page verify that the Marks shown are an accurate reflection of the Gradebook for the course/subject/section. If they look accurate, click "Import Grades." 

Once the grades are imported (or if you do not have a Gradebook for this section and will be manually entering the marks) select "Edit All Records" to add/edit Marks, Citizenship, Work Habit, and Comment Codes to the records.

If you prefer, you can begin by using the "Mass add values" button to Mass assign Citizenship, Work Habits, and Comments to ALL students in this section and then manually change those that need different codes.

To assign individual Marks, CIt, WH, and Comments - click the drop downs next to the student. Select the appropriate code(s) and move on to the next student.

Once all grades and comments have been adjusted select "Done Editing"

You can now move onto the next Period and repeat the same process for each course/subject. 

Grades are submitted as soon as you enter a value. Changing a value will immediately update the officially reported grade. There is no "publish" or "submit" button. Changes and updates can be made up until the closing date of 10/18.
